Designed with an 1/2.5-type Exmor R CMOS sensor, RoboSHOT Elite cameras deliver striking, high-definition video image quality. RoboSHOT Elite cameras are equipped with enhanced wide dynamic range, which can help correct for environments with uneven lighting by making darker or over-bright areas in video more visible and detailed. A web-based user interface gives the user camera control with a web browser from anywhere in the world over the IP network. Perfect for remote management, network operating centers and overall IT control. The Elite Series of RoboSHOT PTZ cameras is equipped with Vaddio's industry-leading Tri-Synchronous Motion technology allowing all three axes of the camera to move simultaneously for ultra-smooth, natural camera motion. The RoboSHOT 12E cameras are recommended for small to medium spaces such as conference rooms, training rooms, and classrooms that require a wide angle of view. The Quick-Connect™ CCU enables the adjustment of AWB, red and blue gain, brightness, OPWB, gamma, chroma, detail, iris and gain controls with a simple press of a button on the Quick-Connect CCU. The front panel interface delivers easy tactile control of the image that is being captured and the ability to color match and shade multiple cameras. User-defined adjustments can be stored on three Scene-Store buttons. The Quick-Connect CCU delivers high-quality HD Video, power and control over three Cat. 5 cables up to 500 feet without loss of video quality or latency. Outputs include analog component YPbPr, HDMI and 3G-SDI for extreme flexibility in system design and integration. All outputs are live simultaneously. | |

1. Determine what you need
- What type of photography will you be doing? (portraits, landscapes, macro, sports)
- The more megapixels often equates to more noise in the picture. If you’re only printing images at a normal size then anything over 5 megapixels will be fine. If you start blowing your images up you might want to pay the extra money for the upper end of what’s on the market today.
- While Digital SLRs are getting more affordable they are not for everyone. They do however produce extremely professional photos! While a Compact point and shoot is great for a trip, many are even waterproof.
- Not all ‘zooms’ are created equal. Digital zooms simply enlarge the pixels which makes it look more pixelated. If you’re looking for a zoom lens make sure it’s an optical zoom (most modern cameras have them of at least 3x in length – ie they’ll make your subject three times as big – with an increasing array of ‘super zooms’ coming onto the market at up to 12x Optical Zoom).
